The Lancia Aurelia that is believed to start life as an Aurelia but lives current-day as a D24-Aurelia hybrid, but Lancia has no records of building this specific Aurelia chassis, and the coachbuilder responsible for this “Sport Barchetta” Aurelia has no official records, so this “Aurelia” could be anything really - possibly even the mostest Aurelia Lancia to ever have left Italy as something resembling a Lancia.

But really, the majority of historians have no clue what this thing is, and the owner is expecting to make a $250K sale. GL.

For me the most Lancia Aurelia is this one. The B24 Spider America. Sure the B24 Spider looks great but look at those bumperettes on the front how they come up towards the grille flanking it like a plinth holding a diamond. If that was off-white with a blood red leather interior I’d be in danger of having a heart attack merely looking at it.

There are two SYK’s, SYK6 and SYK7. Though both are black. SYK6 is list as registered on 16th July 1956 as a green 2451cc Spyder while SYK7 is listed as registered on 12the July 1956 as a red 2451cc with SORN in place (meaning it’s untaxed and currently registered ‘off road’ for repairs, maintence, owner doesn’t want to tax it if they aren’t going to be driving it, etc...).
